Holiday to Llandudno

I went with Boy to Llandudno last week.  It was great to get away as I think I needed to relax after working all summer.

I was worried that we wouldn't find anything to do but we had a really good time and did plenty of different things such as visiting Conwy Castle and walking over the Great Orme (we did mean to just walk around it but the road was closed so we ended up killing our legs walking over it).

Here are some photos from our holiday:

Anyways I'd definitely recommend visiting Llandudno for a holiday to anyone.

Back at Uni

I've finished at my summer job and am back at lectures now.  I only have twelve hours of lectures per week (down from about 25 last year).  Although it does mean that we have to spend lots of time on our group project  - Augmented Reality.  We had to set up a blog to keep our supervisor up-to-date on it but it is blank so far (ARLivUni.blogspot.com).

The flat is looking A LOT tidier!  We've assembled almost all of our furniture and unpacked all the boxes. However there are lots of cardboard boxes lying around everywhere.

Some Project Updates

I've not been keeping up with my finished projects so here is what I've been up to recently:

Bunting
Pattern - Pretty Lacy Bunting by Janet McMahon

I finished this on the train journey(s) back from Bruges.

Archie
Pattern - Mr. Hoo by Carey Huffman (Ravelry download available here)

He's so cute!  He now lives in my flat with my Parliament of Owlets that my Mum made me a while ago.

I've still got a few photos of projects to take but the projects are still back in my parents's house.

All Growed Up

I moved out of my parents' home this weekend.  I'm now living in a lovely modern flat with Boy.  The moving date was brought forward a week so a lot of panic packing was involved.

Yesterday, with lots of help from my parents, we managed to stuff the car with the majority of my possessions and drive it to my new flat.

The flat is currently a complete mess but we're gradually making progress at tidying it up.
